Hello all, and welcome to the Renewed Spirits Forum. I started this board because I am very interested in religion, but I had noone to discuss it with. So I created this forum for some great discussion and for learning about other peoples' beliefs. This section of the Board is used for board rules, which I will be explaining here.

Each account on the board has a rank, according to the number of posts you make. The ranks currently are:

Spirit: 2000
Air: 1500
Water: 1000
Fire: 500
Earth: 1

I chose ranks from nature because I feel that God is in everything, including our spirits and all the elements.

I may delete users occasionally, either because they are spamming a lot, or because they haven't posted in a significantly long time.

If you want to change anything about your username or password, send me a PM to let me know.

House Rules

1. No Flamewars. This is the number one rule of the board, because I want to keep it peaceful instead of at war. Don't call each other names; don't gang up on people; and don't respond to things that you don't want to.

Also, don't judge a book by its cover. If you don't like a certain religion or group of people (which is wrong anyways), then don't generalize about them. You don't know what their religion is like, and they chose their own beliefs because they were right for them.

2. Don't claim Divine Authority. Saying that your scripture or your God is the last word of everything is not going to work on this board. Face it, we don't know which religion or religions is "right" or "wrong". Maybe all of them are right, maybe all of them are wrong. But that is not what this board is about, this board is for discussion on your personal beliefs, and the more-than-occasional debate. Don't claim to be a prophet, and don't claim to be correct about your's and everyone else's beliefs. That's final.

3. Don't provoke the spammers and trolls. Seriously, every board gets them. Don't respond, and it will make it way easier for me to clean up the mess.[/b]

4. I will limit extraneous topics. In general, I am pretty tolerant of joking around and silliness, but if it gets to be too much, then I will lock those threads. If you post one thread, then it's easy to ignore; if you post fifty, then I am likely to lock them all.

I also have the right to ban people that are nasty 100 percent of the time. Swearing is not allowed for the time being... It could go wrong on a board about spirituality. If people are being jerks, then direct them to these rules. If they keep persisting, contact me. I don't like finding flamewars on this board.

If the person continues this behavior, then the next step is a ban: First temporary and then permanent.

And just a heads-up for new comers:

Please use proper grammar on the board. It makes your opinion seem a lot more valid, and you won't be bothered by anyone about your horrible typing skills.
